Professional intervention from a general practice perspective in social service to improve the social efficiency of children addicted to electronic toys

Abstract

The study aimed to test the effectiveness of the professional intervention program from the perspective of general practice in social service to improve social competence among children addicted to electronic games. The study belongs to the studies of estimating the return on professional intervention that test the effect of the independent variable (professional intervention program) on the dependent variable (improving social competence among children addicted to electronic games). The quasi-experimental approach used using the pre-post design of one group. The study tools represented by the social competence scale for children addicted to electronic games. The human field of study was represented by (20) children addicted to electronic games in the primary stage. The results of the study proved validity of the main hypothesis and sub-hypotheses.
