Abstract

This study aimed to identify the relationship between job promotions and organizational commitment from the perspective of employees in the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council.
The researchers followed the descriptive correlational approach, where they designed a questionnaire that included (34) paragraphs, which were distributed to all members of the study community, numbering (150) employees, where (67) of them were retrieved. The results of the study showed that the level of fairness of job promotions was low, and it also showed that the level of organizational commitment was also low. The results also showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the significance level (a≤ 0.05) towards the fairness of job promotions from the point of view of employees in the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council attributed to the gender variable. The differences were in favor of males. The results also showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level (a≤0.05) in the study sample's responses to the fairness of job promotions from the perspective of employees in the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council , attributed to the variables (age group, educational qualification, number of years of service, job title). The results also indicated the presence of a statistically significant positive relationship between the level of fairness of job promotions and the level of organizational commitment from the point of view of the sample members.
