Abstract

The study aims to determine the relationship between policy, commitment, and employee performance development in government hospitals in the Najran region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study population consists of employees in (10) government hospitals in the Najran region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. According to data from the Saudi Ministry of Health for 2023, the number of employees in government hospitals in the Najran region reached approximately 16,500 employees. The study results concluded that: 94.4% of the total changes occurring in the dependent variable (represented by employee performance development) can be explained by occupational safety and health standards. There is also a significant positive impact of all dimensions of occupational safety and health standards on employee performance development as a whole (in its various dimensions) in government hospitals in the Najran region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a statistical significance of <0.001. There is no significant difference between the responses of the research sample regarding occupational safety and health standards (in its various dimensions) in government hospitals in the Najran region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, attributable to demographic characteristics (gender, age, educational level, administrative level, length of experience).
