Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of practicing a group work program based on the Life Model to reduce life stress among mothers of children with burn injuries. The study sought to verify the existence of statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test mean scores of the experimental group on the life stress scale for these mothers. The research is classified as quasi-experimental, relying on an experimental design with a single experimental group of (17) single, with measurements taken before and after the intervention. The professional intervention program using the Life Model was applied from (December 2024 to March 2025). The results confirmed the main hypothesis of the study, showing statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-test means of the experimental group on the life stress scale, as well as all its sub-hypotheses. The main objective of the research was achieved, demonstrating the effectiveness of the group service program based on the Life Model in alleviating life stress for mothers of children with burn injuries, along with all its subsidiary goals.
