Abstract

Countries around the world are seeking to prioritize and invest in educational institutions, considering them the most successful investment. Attention to pre-university education institutions is a cornerstone in preparing and equipping human capital, which is the primary and true wealth of countries. The knowledge economy is based on the output of minds, and the minds of the future are shaped and equipped with knowledge that keeps pace with the challenges of the current era, With the increasing challenges facing pre-university education institutions in Egypt, the need to focus on leadership competencies has increased to address these challenges and support these institutions in achieving their desired goals. The availability of leadership competencies supports the excellence of educational institutions and their employees, especially in light of global challenges, information technology developments, and new competitive conditions that impose on these institutions the need to have leadership competencies capable of keeping pace with all of this, Therefore, the current study aimed to determine the level of leadership competencies among employees in pre-university education institutions, as well as to determine the level of institutional support within pre-university education institutions, and to identify the difficulties that prevent the availability of leadership competencies among employees in pre-university education institutions. The study results accepted the study's first hypothesis, which states: "It is expected that the level of leadership competencies among officials in pre-university education institutions will be high." The study's second hypothesis was also accepted, which states: "It is expected that the level of institutional support dimensions in pre-university education institutions will be high." Finally, the study's third hypothesis was accepted, which states: "There is a statistically significant, positive, and positive relationship between leadership competencies and planning to support pre-university education institutions."
